Graduated with BA and MA from UMD. Married at 22 to Dennis Parnell (Catholic U). Moved around the country several times while he was an executive with Marriott Hotels (25 years). Have 4 adult children with spouses, and 11 grandchildren (#12 due this fall.) Settled back in Rockville area 35 years ago; my kids went to Richard Montgomery and Magruder. Dennis later became an executive at Suburban Hospital (12 years.) I kept busy with PTAs, volunteer work, raising kids and assisting aging parents. Sold my parents' family home on Middlevale Ln (across from JFK HS) about 5 years ago. Dennis was diagnosed with stage IV cancer in 2017; he passed away in December of 2020 (47 years married.) Still live in Rockville (Derwood), keeping busy and trying to find a new purpose in life. Can't believe it's 50+ years!!!
