I will not be able to attend the reunion but here's a short update. Kathryn (my wife) and I reside in a 115 year old (Hansel and Grettel type curiosity) Victorian cottage in Old Town but we have also just purchased a condo so that we can easily leave the area for however long we might desire (and no more snow shoveling...!) While I am now fully retired from the State of Mi after an unusual career with both the Department of Natural Resources and Department of Community Health, I keep myself amused playing Irish music with a local Celtic group at an area pub, volunteering at the famed Interlochen Center for the Arts and sailing on "tall ships" on Grand Traverse bay. Kat is still practicing as a critical care RN at Munson Hospital here in TC. We will likely begin seasonal travel next year to points south, west or even North, to Alaska, as Kathryn has significant experience as a "traveler" RN, and there are many perks, including paid housing, for nurses (and spouses) willing to relocate for a few months. Last winter we were both hired at a Sarasota area hospital. It is virtually just a question of deciding what area of the country we would like to explore next.
