It doesn't seem like 30 years! I went to Vo-Tech in Topeka for a year following graduation for computer programming. After vo-tech I worked at Payless Shoesource in their IT department for 8 years.

Then I moved to KPL, which has since been KPL Gas Service, Western Resources, and now Westar Energy. I've been at Westar for 20 years. I worked in the IT department for 12 years before moving into the Customer Care area. I'm a manger over Business Integration.

I married my high school sweetheart, Doug Fundis (class of 1978), in August 1980. We have a son, Jason, who graduated from Kansas State University with a Civil Engineering degree and he working for an engineering firm in Topeka; and our daughter, Marcie, is a senior this year at Emporia State and she is majoring in Elementary Education.

We still are in the Shawnee Heights School District and we live across the street from Berryton Elementary.

Both kids played lots of sports so we were busy traveling to all their events, but now in my spare time I enjoy scrapbooking and camping.
