Returned to school full-time. Completing an associate's degree in diesel mechanics. Also enrolled at USD to wrap a Master's in Social Work. Worked 12 years as a claim adjuster, 2 as a union autoworker, and grew disillusioned.

Once school is done, hope to become an ordained Southern Baptist minister. The Diesel Tech degree is so I can earn a living. A guy's gotta eat, right?

Plan to return to my adopted hometown of Detroit to begin a counseling ministry for ex-felons. Alas, God uses cracked pots, or in my case a crackpot, to do His work.

Hero to four daughters, each of which are growing up too fast. Chloe is 13. Halle is 12. Grace is 7. Faith is 6.

I'm single with a cat named Ruth. She's 8.

Live in Sioux Falls, which is the whitest place on earth. Bike thefts make the 6 o'clock newscast.
