I have been married for almost 36 years to the love of my life, (well, on most days, ), Mike Underhill. We are located in Imperial Beach, Ca.; a southern sleepy little beach town about 15 miles south of San Diego. If you saw that wacked out HBO special, John from Cincinnati, well, it was filmed here. Mike will be taking an early retirement next year, and you might just say I am already retired. I pretty much am a lady of leisure by choice. I am blessed!

I spend lots of time with my grandchildren, biking, and trying to stay healthy. I enjoy anything which has to do with water, fishing, walking the beach, and kayaking. Mike surfs, I watch him wipeout a lot. We live right across the street from the ocean. I knock on wood everyday for having the good life, and know that the most important thing in life, is good health.

I quit smoking the day after I got home from our 30th reunion.
NO regrets there...... :-)

Our handsome children are Mike and Brian, both who share the same chosen profession; teaching. Brian is a varsity baseball coach. Mike plays rugby in his spare time. Incidentally, they both happen to be married to teachers too!

Our beautiful grandchildren are Emily, age 4, Connor, age 2, and Ellis, 15 months. Ellis is the older sister of one who is currently underway, and due to rock our world, in August, 2008.

Mike and I have spent a lot of time traveling. Having lost both my parents when I was young, I learned not to put off until tomorrow with what I can do today. If it is over tomorrow, I am confident that I did it right.

We have been to Ireland, all over Europe a couple of times.. (England, France, Switzerland, Italy, Greece), the Caribbean, St. Thomas, Jamaica, Mexico, Victoria, BC., and most recently we cruised from San Diego to Hawaii.

Planning our next trip, back to Italy and France when my husband retires next year.
