Being a Navy Brat, I moved to Tampa my SR year and hardly knew anyone. Once I graduated Leto I went to HCCC for 2 semesters and then graduated from CCSU - now known as Texas A&M Corpus Christi in 1988 with a BS in Criminal Justice. I joined State Farm in 1989 and have 25 years there. I spent 16 years in our fraud unit and now work as a complex liability claim representative. I married Joe Ems and we have 2 daughters, Megan age 21 and Julianna age 18. We have 4 rescue dogs. I do a lot of volunteering with Life Gift Organ Donation center in Houston.
