I was pretty shy in High School, but my life really began at college in Maine - a study abroad program to Vienna which gave me confidence to later begin the study of Medicine at the University of Bologna, Italy and later transfer into New Jersey College of Medicine (the college was big in marine biology and I strongly considered that as a career too). Presently, I'm in Central Pa still working as an ophthalmologist with a surgical center. I did ophthalmic surgery on mission trips to Central and South America. I'm married with 6 grandkids, keep bees, am presently learning blues harmonica, been back and forth to Europe and north Africa, and live my dream of having a hobby farm. So far, no plans for retirement.
