Wow, has it really been 50 years!? I remember discussions about the Viet Nam war, playing tennis, watching football, Mrs. Standley's algebra II class, and much more. The announcement of President Kennedy's assassination came while in algebra class and the following Friday, the Braves played an arch rival, I think Lee High School, in football and won for the first time in a long while. Oh, and there was the Cuban missile crisis. Remember duck and cover exercises and feeling sure that we would never reach the age of 18??? Well, we did reach 18 PLUS 50, yikes. See you in October!
