It doesn't feel like it's been 30 years ago that we graduated! My daughter, Sara (20) finished 2 years at Highland Community College, playing softball. Now she will go to Kansas Weslyan in Salina to play for them. My son, Jake (16) will be a Junior at Santa Fe Trail High School. He is on the golf team and doing very well. He plans on being the next Tiger Woods!
I have spent every summer for the past 14 years, sitting in bleachers watching the kids play their sports! It has been such a joy to watch them get better and develop life-long friends along the way. It was also like mini-reunions for me, because lots of the kids parents were also SHHS graduates.
I am still at the Postal Service, near Forbes Field. I have been there for 27 years! I'm "eligible" to retire but because I'm not 55 yet, I'm not OLD enough!
