Life is good! Retirement is wonderful!
At Muhlenberg College I met my husband Don, and we have been married for 46 years. I taught for 6 years, and then I stayed home for 16 years raising our 3 sons. I started teaching again at a learning disabilities school. In Feb. of '91, I had an operation for a spinal cord tumor which left me paralyzed from the chest down. After rehab and lots of love and support from family and friends, I returned to my job in September. I retired after teaching another 15 years. Don and I have been fortunate to have done a lot of traveling, and we babysit whenever needed for our 3 little grandchildren. I enjoy reading, shopping, playing bridge and helping with church activities. I'm looking forward to attending the reunion.
