Asplund, Joan age 57, died very peacefully in her sleep on December, 9, 2006. She was a truly amazing, courageous, inspiring, and beautiful woman. Joan brought love, laughter, fun and extraordinary cooking to everyone around her. She was the greatest mother, Nana, and friend, and will forever be remembered for her incredible strength and generosity. She will be deeply missed by children, Sherry, Brent, Danielle; & great friend, Anne; grandchildren, Juliahna & Alexis; mother, Mary; brothers, Mike & Paul; sisters-in-law, Bonnie and Pat; and her godmother, Micky; many additional relatives, and countless friends.
