Hello Class of '88! Can you believe it has been 30 years? So much has changed. I may have been a quiet mouse buried in my books and dance lessons during high school. But I have spent the past 25 years building my communications career starting out as a newspaper and radio news reporter and then achieving my dream in May 2018 when I started my new role as the Director of Communications for a scientific nonprofit in Silver Spring, Maryland. Outside of work, I have spent nearly 12 years volunteering as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) advocating for foster children who have been abused or neglected. My biggest achievement: meeting my biological mother in July 2017.
