Hello! It's been great to read about everyone and get a small glimpse into their life for the last 20 years. We've all done great haven't we! Two days after graduation I headed to Nashville, Tennessee and never looked back. I couldn't wait to start my new life anywhere as long as it was away from Lubbock. I've continued to come back to Lubbock to see my family and my feelings have definitely changed. Lubbock was an awesome place to grow up! A part of me regrets not sticking around and going to Tech and seeing what life could have been like there..but Nashville has been good to me. I set out to do music thinking Nashville would be a stop-over before NYC or L.A. Once I got here, I never left. I bounced around to different types of music business jobs until I landed at a recording studio that allowed me to still be able to pay my bills and make my music. I've been lucky enough to do everything I ever wanted to do music-wise except for the selling millions and millions of records and being a rock star part. I've had bands, a few dance music hits, recorded lots of background vocals, countless jingles, recorded several cd's, had one of my Christmas songs picked up for a musical hopefully headed to off-Broadway and just had my first song as songwriter recorded by a big jazz artist in Europe - which might earn enough money for a pizza - but I wouldn't change a thing. It's been a quite a ride. Hopefully I can make it back for the reunion but if I don't, have a drink for me...and toast to another 20!
