I can't think of anything exceptionally memorable about the high school days - just that I graduated! On April 11 of this year, my wife Debbie and I will celebrate our 39th anniversary. We have taken many trips over the years. We've hiked in Vermont and Main; taken cruises; a trip to Hawaii; muled our way into the Grand Canyon; white water rafted the Salmon River in Idaho; and skied the Birkebeiner in Wisconsin (where we were graciously hosted by our friend and classmate Larry Armstrong and his wife, Judy). We've been to the Pacific Northwest where we stopped off to visit our friend and classmate, Steve Oseas and wife Molly. I would say the most grueling, but fun and memorable trip was the summer of 2007 when we took our three oldest grandchildren (ages 15, 14, and 11) to Disney World...and we survived! We have to build up some energy to go back with our youngest granddaughter (age 3) when she is old enough. I can't imagine where 40 years went!
