Approaching this, our 50th High School Reunion, is for me equivalent to stepping out of a time capsule. Confronting today the accumulation of my life experiences since high school graduation feels extraordinary. I remember, yet rarely look at my Griffin from 1960. It holds pictures of my innocence and youth as a child of 17 years. The picture you see of me today, approaching 68 years in September, is one I believe I value far greater. Although weathered somewhat, I carry a rich textbook of mental pictures and events that I would not trade. I suspect after all this time, we share many of the same thoughts. I look forward to experiencing this entry in the 2010 Buchtel Griffin. I wish for all our classmates, the good health and good fortune to be together in August and visit the past together.
