I attended U of Florida, graduating in 1992 with a BS in Telecommunications, with outside concentration in economics and business. During my senior year at UF and for a decade after, I became an activist and organizer, where I was among the first wave of volunteers for the Civic Media Center and Stetson Kennedy Library in Gainesville, FL (civicmediacenter.org). I also co-founded Free Radio Gainesville, a low-power FM community radio station. I was also active in causes ranging from abortion clinic defense to nuclear disarmament. I met my future wife at the CMC and we married in 1999 and moved to Olympia, WA. I’ve worked for the same non-profit HMO for almost 20 years and we were just bought by Kaiser Permanente. Currently, I manage their data warehouse for their mental health and wellness specialty service line. I have a 16-yr old girl, Zoe and an 11-yr old girl, Solome. Best wishes, Howard Rosenfeld
