At my secondary job I am a RRT- Registered Respiratory Therapist, RCP- Respiratory Care Practitioner, who holds a BSRC- Bachelor's of Science in Respiratory Care from Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. For the last 18yrs. I have been gainfully employeed with Seton Medical Center in Austin Texas. I spent the first 17 1/2 years at Seton on the night shift allowing me to take care of our children during the day. Most recently (last 2 months)I have moved to the dayshift much to my wifes delight. Working 12hr night shifts for 17yrs takes a toll on your mind, body and soul. I am thankful for the blessing of Stephanie and I being able to work our schedules in such a way as to accommodate for our children's needs, allowing us to be their only care givers for their first three years or so of their lives. | Question 5 | Ha Ha I take each day as a blessing and try to live in the present (it is a gift from god). My current plans are to clean up the house and due some of the never ending clothes washing. I "promised" my wife I would work on them. Also the kithchen sink hot water side handle needs replacing and you can't get Moen replacement handles locally you have to get them from Moen at 28.00$ or you can replace the whole Faucet Set up for say 120.00$. What ever they have you by the you know what's. Capitalism ya gotta love it. | Question 6 | Eating a Pizza at Little Big Man's Pizza that was divided into thirds, one third each for Steve King, Sam Getz and I. This usually included a picture of beer. Funning thing was that our lunch ritual was during football two a days at Capital. My third of the pizza was the TNT, Sam's was the Blue Coat Blast, Steve's I do not recall at this time. Good Friends, Football, Pizza and Beer that is the GOOD life.
One of my most vivid memories from High School is from our very first Capital Freshman Track Meet. Capital was behind in total points entering final event which was the Mile Relay. If the Mile Relay Team (Biff, Dan, Striz and me) win the final event then Capital would also move ahead in total points and win the entire Track Meet. Being our first Track Meet the MIle Relay Team didn't really know what to expect. With the added pressure of the fate of our entire team as motivation we were poised to give our best efforts and try to win the Final Event and thus the Meet as well. As I recall, we all ran hard and the final leg of our team clearly ahead as he crossed the finish line. We had helped to save the day and won both the final event and the Track Meet, in one glorious swoop. To the Track Team's dismay and immediately after crossing the finish line and while still in his racing lane the last leg threw the Track Baton at the ground. This was done in more of what appeared to be a triumphant celebration than anything else. Never the less the Track Judges Disqualified our team from the Mile Relay Event also costing us Track Meet as well. This to shall pass...but not forgotten. Just one of those Life Lessons...pick your self up, learn form your mistake, forgive yourself and go on. | Question 7 | Mary Kay, Nadine Sneed | Question 9 | I moved more times before I was 5 years old than most people move in their entire life. (sister Teresa was born), Sacramento Calif. (sister Sherry was Born), Nashville Tenn., Sacramento Calif. (I was born). So yes I had just moved (again) from Big Spring Texas but in reality I was not "from" there. During the past ten years I spent alot of time being very involved at the high school. My boys all played football and I was in charge of the football booster program. I also chaired and was an officer for all three parent clubs for my boys.
