This bio will not be done in one session so please look once in a while to watch for more info as I think of it!
I feel like some kind of pioneer at this as I am one of the first to do a bio on this website. Which is the opposite of when I knew you people, I was always the last to step forward
You won't find my picture in the yearbook because I missed the photo session and never bothered to get it done in time for the publication. At the time, I didn't care but now I regret not getting it done, as I was one of the more handsome dudes in the school.
ha-ha you see I have a sense of humor!
I just got the Idea to post some pictures from my life. My "then" photo was taken in 1961 while attending Sandburg Jr. High. I sure was a bucktoothed kid back then!
I graduated from St Cloud State in 1971 with a degree in Biology. Had a 20 year career at the University of Minnesota and then 2 years in heart research for Medtronics Corporation.
Married Carol Bacon of Golden Valley in 1971 and we have two adult kids and one grandchild of either sex due in Oct 2009.
I am now mostly retired and earning my fun money doing taxidermy.
Music has been a big part of my life. In 1999 I recorded a album of 22 great old american songs with John Hagen also a grad from our class! We performed at the 40 reunion and hope to also play at the 45th!
In 2008 I recorded my first solo album, STRINGS ATTACHED" Twelve great new songs. Please check it out by clicking on "Sponsors" in the left colum of the home page of this website, or send me a personal email.
Nov 4,2009 Just found out I have a Grandson, as cute as they get! They named him Piers, Taken from the English, I think that is how you spell it.

Later,

Jim Malone
