After graduating from Buchtel, I went to Ohio State University, Columbia University, and then did postdoctoral research at Stanford University. I met my husband, Paul, when we were graduate students at Columbia. We will have been married for 52 years at the time of the reunion. We briefly worked at Rutgers University in New Jersey, and we have been doing research together at Howard University in Washington DC for many years. (We live in Silver Spring, MD.) (Paul is a professor and I am an adjunct professor.) We plan to retire soon. We have his family’s tree farm near Molalla, Oregon, and try to visit every year. We were there for the total eclipse of the sun in 2017. We have two daughters, two sons-in-law, and three grandchildren (ages 13, 10, and 4). Both families live near us. The attached photo was taken in February at Lincoln Center in New York. We were there with our older daughter and granddaughter to see Carmen at the Metropolitan Opera. Paul and I went there many times as graduate students. It seemed very special to me to be returning with a daughter and granddaughter.
