Heidi (Raugland '71) Dillon
My husband Bill and I have been living in Dallas,Texas for the past 20 years. We have a 16 year-old son named Dallas who has my husband's analytical skills and my personality. I am a partner/executive producer at Morning Dew Pictures which is a Los Angeles based television production company.

Before moving to Dallas, my husband and I lived in Columbia, South Carolina, New York City and Amherst, Massachusetts. While in Amherst, I studied art at UMass where I received a BFA and MFA in printmaking and painting.

My family and I enjoy spending our summers in Malibu, California. We also like to travel during Dallas' school breaks. Dallas is particularly fond of Paris and New York. He goes to a private school, plays the string bass in several orchestras, belongs to Latin club and competes in state-wide competitions and he is a budding filmmaker.

My husband is Senior Associate Dean at the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University. He received his PhD in Statistics and Marketing from City University in New York. He has also founded two successful marketing firms and continues to serve on the board and write extensively for the Journal of Marketing Research. He has written three books in the fields of marketing and statistics.

As partner/executive producer at Morning Dew Pictures, I am heavily involved in the development of new, unscripted programs. Development entails scouting bold characters who inhabit unique worlds, shooting a "sizzle" reel that articulates that particular world and pitching the project to the appropriate television network. Once a show is picked up, I work closely with my partners and the network to take the project to series.

As purveyors of unscripted television, Morning Dew Pictures has produced Real Housewives of Miami, season 1 on BRAVO, Baldwin Hills on BET, Behind the Music on Vh1, and many other shows on CMT, PBS, MTV, TNN, just to name a few. At this time, we are in the process of filming two pilots for major cable networks. On the directing side, we are currently doing Oprah's Life Classes.

On the other side of the camera, I was a cast member on Season 2 of the Style Network's docusoap Big Rich Texas.

In addition to my work in television, I have also been heavily involved with Dallas' (the city, not my son) lively charity/social world. Over the past 20 years I have chaired numerous fund-raising events including the Dallas Museum of Art's Ball, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Luncheon/Fashion Show, the Salvation Army Luncheon/Fashion Show, and the Nasher Sculpture Center's New Year's Eve Gala. Several years ago I founded a non-profit called The Fashionistas. The organization raises funds to support the local fashion design community.

I am looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion!
